My academic biography, in brief: I am a specialist in ancient philosophy and completed my Ph.D. at Princeton in 2019, writing a dissertation on techne in the Platonic dialogues. Before that, I earned an M.A. in Classical Philology at the University of Arizona and a B.A. in Classics (with minors in Philosophy and Biology) at Stanford.
My research and teaching interests include ancient philosophy, ancient history, and ethics. Outside of work, I enjoy playing and watching tennis, travel with friends (esp. in Greece, of course), and reading nonfiction.
I have two surnames and prefer to be cited with both (e.g., Hulme Kozey 2018).
